SELDOC Healthcare is a successful and respected provider of urgent care and primary care in South East London. We are expanding our patient-first healthcare provisions into South West London and are looking to recruit experienced and skilled GPs to our team as part of the process. 
 
We already have over 150 local GPs on our rota system and are recruiting for GP roles that cover a mixture of daytime, evening, overnight, weekday and weekend hours. These GP services will be provided in urgent care, telephone assessment, face-to-face clinics, home visiting, and hospital at home service settings.

We are seeking highly skilled and motivated General Practitioners (GPs) to join our Urgent Treatment Centre team. You will manage a wide range of undifferentiated urgent and emergency presentations, working both autonomously and collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities: 
 
Independently assess, diagnose, and manage patients presenting with urgent or emergency conditions. 
Provide safe and effective examinations, prescribing, investigations, referrals, and discharges. 
Deliver care across a range of presentations, including paediatrics. 
Use EPS and NHS digital systems to maintain accurate records and referrals. 
Apply NICE guidance and urgent care pathways to patient management. 
Contribute to teaching, mentoring, and clinical supervision of junior colleagues. 
Uphold high standards of safeguarding, governance, and reflective practice. 
 
Person Specification
 
Essential: 
 
GMC registration with a licence to practise. 
MRCGP (for GPs) or postgraduate qualification in emergency/urgent care. 
Minimum 1-year post-CCT (or equivalent) with evidence of annual appraisal and revalidation. 
Demonstrable experience in urgent care/emergency presentations within the last 3 years. 
Safe and effective prescribing practice. 
Independent assessment, diagnosis, and treatment skills. 
Competence with EPS and NHS systems, clear documentation, and communication. 
Knowledge of urgent care pathways, NICE guidelines, safeguarding, and governance. 
Resilient, adaptable, calm under pressure, with a strong patient-centred focus. 
 
Desirable: 
 
ALS/ILS certification. 
Postgraduate diplomas (e.g., Minor Illness, Urgent Care). 
Previous experience in UTC/ED settings. 
Experience supervising or mentoring colleagues. 
Paediatric urgent care experience. 
Leadership or service improvement training.
