SELDOC is a GP cooperative operating across South London. We are extremely proud to have provided a high quality services for 2 million patients over the past 27 years. 
We’re looking for GPs relishing to work in a fast-paced, patient-first service. If this is you – we would love to welcome you to the SELDOC family. 
You will work closely with other members of SELDOC’s multi-disciplinary team consisting of other GPs and Advanced Practitioners (APs) from different professional backgrounds. 
We’re currently offering portfolio roles with a mixture of daytime, evening, overnight, weekday & weekend hours in Urgent Care, Telephone Assessment, Face-to-Face Clinics, Home Visiting, and Hospital at Home services. 
 
BASE: St Thomas’s GP Hub Service 
 
ROTA: To provide an agreed number of clinical sessions per week 
 
SALARY: £95K - £105K (Depending on experience & location)* 
 
 

Clinical responsibilities 

Undertake a variety of duties including telephone consultations and triage, face-to-face consultations at our bases and home visits. 
Assess the health care needs of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems making professional autonomous decisions. 
Consult and complete patient cases where possible. 
Deliver evidence-based care considering local and national guidance where relevant. 
Prescribe where necessary and according to local formularies and SELDOC medicines management policy. 
Make appropriate onward referrals where required e.g. to secondary care. 
Empower patients and provide self-care advice where appropriate. 
Record high quality contemporaneous clinical records. 
Support other members of the clinical team including other GPs, APs and trainees. 
Work as a member of a clinical and non-clinical multi-disciplinary team. 
Undertake training that meets personal, statutory and mandatory learning needs including reflecting following involvement in complaints and incidents. 
Contribute to the team-working ethos of SELDOC by supporting colleagues including trainee clinicians and APs. 
Awareness of and compliance with all relevant SELDOC policies/guidelines, e.g. prescribing, confidentiality, data protection, health and safety amongst others. 
Maintain and awareness of relevant national clinical guidance and provide high quality evidence-based medicine. 
Engage with SELDOC audit processes including clinical notes and medicines management audit and feedback.
