Delivering local healthcare you can trust

Local healthcare you can trust

Our Story

Established in 1996 as a co-operative, our focus has and always will be on making a real difference to the quality of patient care. Over the years, we have expanded our service offering and skills and now serve over 2 million patients in one of the most diverse communities in the world – London.

Our vision and values

Our purpose is to make people better by delivering local and trusted healthcare. Quite simply, we love what we do and we want patients to love us too. Our values form the foundation for our organisation and everyone within it.

We want to make a difference. By looking after people well and giving patients the right care when they need it – ultimately making a positive difference to their lives. We want to make a positive difference to the healthcare system as a whole and do this by working in close partnership with other providers to provide a seemless service to all that we serve.

We are patient-focused. Although we treat around 4,000 patients every week, to us each patient is a person rather than a number. Every decision we make, in all parts of our organisation, is designed to improve service and outcomes for patients. We have been making people better for 25 years and we are never going to stop.

We are trustworthy. We are seen by local patients, commissioners and partner organisations as a trustworthy partner. We understand that we are accountable for the decisions we make and for the provision of good care. If something isn’t quite right, you can trust us to fix it.

We are ambitious and enterprising. We want to always be improving what we do, to extend our reach across the local communities we serve and to grow our company in a sustainable way which makes sense for patients. We are clinically led and we are innovative in what we do and how we do it.

Our Team

Our daily focus is to ensure that services are safe, accessible and well led. Our clinical workforce is the key ingredient to providing excellent care. We collaborate with clinical professionals locally and nationally to ensure that our services are the best they can be. Our clinical workforce and our staff are our most important asset – we value them hugely and we try to demonstrate this in how we manage our services.

Executive Team

We have a strong, multi-skilled Executive Team which leads the business with support and challenge from our Board. Whether we are looking at an issue from a clincial, operational or financial perspectieve, we are all driven by our values and every decision we make is focused on patients.
