Providing care when other services are unavailable
South East London out-of-hours
We have provided out of hours primary care services in South East London for nearly 25 years. We support around 1 million people in Lambeth, Southwark and Lewisham delivering telephone and video consultations and face to face appointments – either at one of our bases or a patients home if they cannot travel.
Our service has adapted over the years inline with patient needs and we are proud to have a strong reputation as a trusted local healthcare provider – the communities we serve know that we will be there whenever they need us. Testament to this is the fact we have maintained our CQC “Good” rating, by continuing to be patient focussed and adapting our service based on how we can best help to support the South East London community.
Until 2018, patients were able to call us directly when their own practice was closed but now all of our services are accessed via 111. Recently, we have also rapidly mobilised services in response to the pandemic to support COVID-19 patients. These services were mobilised very quickly to provide home visiting services for COVID-19 patients – designed to ease the pressure on the wider healthcare system as well as ensuring the best outcome for patients.
