Group Medical Director
Part time- 3-4 days per week
150K per annum (FTE)
SELDOC is a GP co-operative, established in 1996, that has grown to provide both out of hours and in hours primary care services across South London, with a strategy for growth and innovation. We are patient focused and already achieve high standards in the quality of care we provide.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our forward thinking and highly regarded care provider as our Group Medical Director. Experience of primary care is an advantage but most of all we need a professional medical director with a proven record and desire for service improvement.
You will have strong clinical leadership qualities at the helm of developing our strategic vision to further enhance, develop and shape clinical services expertise. As a part of the Executive Management team you will be an integral part of the organisations growth strategy. You will have the drive to improve what already works, whilst having the confidence and authority to address and resolve issues that need it.
We place high importance in delivering excellence in clinical quality, effectiveness, and put a good patient experience at the heart of our work. You must be friendly and approachable with the ability to build relationships with colleagues, patients, senior managers, clinicians, healthcare providers and other key stakeholders.
We require someone who is proactive, able to spend time in the service and continues to build a good rapport with all levels of staff. The postholder will also be instrumental in the recruitment and training of doctors to the service as part of the strategic aims of the role.
In return we will offer circa £150k pro rata for 3-4 days per week. We offer flexible working, 6 weeks annual leave and 1 week of study leave with a supportive team and board. Our head office is in Norbiton, South West London.
