SELDOC is a “patient-first” GP Co-operative that has been providing high-quality patient care across Lambeth, Southwark, Lewisham and beyond since 1996. 
We are looking for a practising GP from Lewisham, Lambeth or Southward to join our Board as a GP non-executive Director (GP NED). SELDOC is at an incredibly interesting stage of its development, with significant changes in the NHS and in primary care in particular. As a GP NED you will be part of a committed Board and work with a talented executive team to drive the business forward in line with our values, influencing patient care, supporting innovation and strengthening SELDOC as a leading system partner.

We are building stronger relationships, developing new services and becoming more deeply embedded in South East London, working as a true system partner. 
In addition to your work in general practice, you will be well connected locally and comfortable making appropriate introductions for SELDOC across your network, acting as an ambassador for SELDOC. We are focusing particularly on strengthening our partnerships with PCNs, Local Care Networks, Federations, and the LMC and system partners. The successful applicant will be aware of issues in primary care locally, and have some awareness of national primary care topics. 
Here are the practical details and minimum time requirements: 
• Our Board Meetings are every other month on the second Tuesday, from 14:00 to 17:30 
• They take place in the following months: February, April, June, August, October, December 
• Meeting location is usually in Kingston or South East London 
• You may join one of our Finance or Quality sub committees who meet quarterly, typically on Tuesdays for three hours. These meetings ordinarily take place virtually via Microsoft Teams 
• There are up to 2 away-days/afternoons per year. 
We offer £114 per hour for attendance to board meetings, away days, any other meetings or ad hoc work completed. Minimum time requirement for the role equates to a salary of £10,643 per annum. If you were to be part of one of our committees, your salary would equate to £11,213 per annum.
